About Fron Goch Garden Centre
Fron Goch Garden Centre is owned and run by the Williams family. Robin and wife Valerie were the original entrepreneurs.
Robin, who hails from Caernarfon, originally worked as a horticultural lecturer at nearby Glynllifon College before buying the Fron Goch site for a market garden in 1981. A farm shop was established, before Fron Goch developed into a garden centre in the 1990s.
Fron Goch Garden Centre employs more than 50 people, mostly from the local area, who share our passion for all things green!
Coach operators
Coach parties are welcome at Fron Goch Garden Centre. It’s the ideal place to stop, just minutes from the World Heritage Site castle and medieval town walls of Caernarfon.
The centre sits alongside the Welsh Highland Railway and is situated at the gateway to Porthmadog, Pwllheli and the Llyn Peninsula. The Italianate village of Portmeirion is just 30 minutes away.
With plenty of coach parking and full access for the less mobile, Fron Goch appeals to all ages and all abilities. Our café comfortably seats 150 people.
