Retail Assistant

Must have previous retail shop experience. Will ideally have experience within a garden centre or gift shop however training will be given.

Experience of ordering stock along with stock and merchandising would be an advantage.

Will be responsible for general retail assistance within a garden centre, to include customer service, taking payments, pricing of stock, merchandising etc.

This full time position includes a weekend rota. 24 to 40 hours per week. Ability to speak Welsh and English will be advantageous. To apply please send a covering letter and CV to Justin William.

Café Assistant Approx. 15-25 hrs a week

Monday, Friday and weekend rota. Hours can be fairly flexible, but need to be a mixture of e.g. 9.15 - 2.45, 9-3 or 4, or 11-6

Cook Approx. 20-32 hrs a week

8 - 4.30, including a weekend rota.

Passionate about home cooked food? Do you enjoy working as part of a team in a busy, fast paced environment? If you answered yes, then Fron Goch has the job for you.

Previous experience in a retail catering environment and holding a relevant food safety qualification would be an advantage, but not essential. Training is provided and will be ongoing. The successful candidate needs to have excellent communication and organizing skills and have very high standards.

Bedding Plant Assistant

3 to 5 days a week - approx. 30 hours. The hours and days can be flexible.

This role will mostly involve working in the glasshouses and poly tunnels, potting on seedlings and young plants, and planting tubs & baskets. No previous experience necessary. Skills desirable for this role include fast hands, ability to work well alone and as well as with others.
