Malus x robusta 'Red Sentinel' 12L

£69.99
Crab Apple

A small rounded very ornamental tree, with dark green leaves that turn bronzed yellow in the autumn. White blushed, fragrant flowers emerge from pink buds in April followed by large bright red fruits, which often last all through winter. A true bird feeder from nature, the fruit laden shoots can also be cut for Christmas decoration.

Malus Growing Tips:
Crab Apples are self-fertile, and very useful as pollinators for a variety of fruit trees. Full sun or part shade lover, best grown in fertile, moist, deep, loamy soils. Requires minimal pruning in late winter or spring to remove damaged, diseased or misplaced growth.
